Guest guest
I send you best wishes & safe travel coverage, Do be very careful of any possible FLU mess that you can steer away from. Have a very happy holiday. LOVE & HUGS< GrandmomBEV My Clinic visit... Well I told you all that I was heading into Clinic on Wednesday and would let you know how it went since the IV. Well I am feeling better, but my lung function was still the same 33% . It was actually 31% at first and totally freaked me out, but then after two more tries went up to 33%. So I am not thrilled with that. That it has not moved since my IV treatment begun, but my doctor said that it was good that it dod not go down. I gained a few pounds in weight, so that''s always good news. I look a lot better. Hopefully by the time I go in again I will have a higher %age. We'll see. As for the Iv, well we're going to try to keep it peripheral until December 25th. I am going away to Cuba then and did not want the pick line in then. And due to Christmas it might have been hard to get it removed. But I am going ot get it in in February when I will be on Intravenous treatment again. I hope my veins hold up. I know that I have not written a lot for the past couple of days, but I read them every day. And think about you all in the hospital, at home, or with sick family members. Especially for those of you facing the flu in the States. It scares me, god that's the last thing any of us need. Guest guest
Natalia, I always forget that you are not in the US. I guess it must be because Canada is so close. Are you taking a vacation to Cuba? I wonder whatb it feels like to have a lung function of 33%. It's hard it imagine. One of Abby's doctors told me that it would be like breathing through a straw.
