Hello everybody. I'm back from dancing with Dr. R. Feel great. I got

to the hospital at 6:30am and everything went smooth from there. I

played musical rooms for a while but that didn't bother me to much.

My surgery took 27 minutes with no complications. Dr. R did say that

I had a fatty liver. I meet my littermate Amarlysis Dickerson and her

family while I was there and I want to thank her very much because if

she hadn't been there to encourage me to get up and walk around, I

would probably still be in a lot of pain. I had very little nausea

but did have a lot of gas pain. Thank goodness for demoral. We were

on the Peds floor and everything and everybody was so nice there. I

especially like Jeff (the male nurse) He spoke freely to you. When he

spoke to you it was not like the nurse speaking to the patients it

was like 2 friends talking. He has very good people skills. I also

met Sheila Weeks. She started my IV and I told her I had heard all

about her, but of course it was all good things. I got sprung from

DRH at about 9:30 am and made it back home at 11:30am. All in All I'm

glad its over and now I can look forward to a healther life. One

immediate result that I noticed was my feet were not swollen. Before

surgery I could hardly walk because my feet were so swollen. When I

got out of bed this morning they were not. So to everyone who is

still pre-op and hasn't decided on which surgery you want....I'm here

to tell you that this is the best one. shorter hospital stay, shorter

recovery.
