If you're not able to keep down fluids *at all* you're going to need

to go in and get on an IV. Does your doc know you're NPO? If not,

call him back now and make sure he knows you're not able to take

fluids by mouth. You can't go six days with no fluids.

Concerned,

Margaret

" He said the recoup time can be very long depending

on the repairs. "

I don't know about humans but this is true for greyhounds. It is a

strange little rerouting kind of surgery. Whipple for the knee? But

it is a VERY successful type of thing. Many athletets, human and

not, have it. It is not another cronic thing in your life.

Love to you. Glad your knee is not broken.

Dear Carol,

Yes that my knee can be fixed and won't be a cronic condition is great. I

see the orthopedic surgeon at 10:30 today so will know more then. He knows more

then the ER Md.

I also want to wish you the very best this week and I will be thinking

about you all day. I hope your recovery is quick and you will be home in your

great bed soon. What time are you going?

Need to get ready for my appoinment. The 5 minutes shower is history right

now. Probably an hour to get ready. Talk to you soon.

Love,
