Guest guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Share Posted May 8, 2002 Hum, Ok to sum up my problem. In 1986 had a bad cold, doc said could have been some form of Scarlet Fever. Lost my voice, it is only a horse squeek now. About 7 years ago started having the ear pain thing, only once a month or so. Last two years, ear thing has run-a- muk. I get the pain and heat 3 times a week. I have had joint pain in my fingers. Went to GP, had general arthritis test, came back neg. My mother has Rhem. Arth and RP. Now should I go back to my GP with all this? Is this a heriditary thing? I live in a very small town in Australia. I have got a appt. with a Rhet. Doc in a few months (long waiting list) Any thoughts on this would be great. I don't even know if this is what I MAY have, kinda getting me worked up.
