Guest guest
Good Morning! I wanted to pop my head in (so to speak) and say hello. There are many of you who have not met me yet, especially since there were 42 new members who signed up in March alone and we have already had 16 new members in April. On behalf of the PAI, I welcome each and every one of you. And, on behalf of the administration I thank all of the active members who have done so much to make new comers feel welcome. The PAI is a large and growing organization and depends on the volunteer support of its members, and being available and reaching out to the new members is just one of the many wonderful ways you are helping. I will never forget what it felt like shortly after I was first diagnosed, August , 1999. My life just felt better knowing someone understood, it was months before I even knew enough to ask questions. That is why I appreciate everybody's efforts in making the PAI what it is today. Many people say they don't know enough about Pancreatitis to be of any help. I am sure that there isn't a person here that would disagree completely. There isn't anything more helpful than the love and caring that exudes from each and every one of you. Please know how much you are appreciated. I am off to a doctors appointment, so I will get this off and check back in this afternoon!
