I use a carpet cleaner a lot around here! We didn't have a dog in the house when the girls were diagnosed and they have gotten bacteria a lot before we did so I really don't think that the dog will cause her to get bacteria. Pseudomonas is everywhere it is really hard to avoid. Why not keep the dog outside more then in if it would make you feel better? Our dogs are. Guest guest
, We have two dogs and until recently a cat as well. When Eilish was dx we thought we might have to get rid of my dog we had then which I had had for 10 years, Her specialist said the dog is more likely to catch things from humans than the other way around. One of our dogs is long haired like Benji. Eilish loves them and rolls around with them. I think they teach kids alot. I hope your mum will be able to keep her. (Australia) Dog owners, I have a? for you/ CF Related Hi, I have a question for all the dog owners. My Mother-in-law adopted an older dog from the SPCA and she has an incontinence problem (the dog, not my mother in law LOL). The dog is leaking urine when she lays down in a certain position, getting urine all over the carpet. My Mother-in-law is following her around and getting the urine cleaned up as soon as she sees it but we are concerned that there may be bacteria or something left behind after we clean up. and that we might be missing spots. The Vet gave a medication for this problem and we are hoping to get it resolved quickly, but we are concerned that all this urine and stink will cause a problem for . Is it OK for to be around the dog/house where the dog is? or will it get her sick? We are considering bringing her back to the SPCA but feel bad because she will, in all likelihood, be put down if we return her and she is really sweet. Help if you can!!!!!
