Welcome Abigail

SCD has had a good deal of successwith the problems you describe. Study the

websites

mentiones at the end of this message. You will find a ton of information and

even how to

get started on the SCD.

The gut and brain are connected in a fashion that causes diet and digestion to

influence

behavior. If SCD interests you, we usually suggest a one month trial. the diet

consistes of

healthy wholesome foods, meat, fish and poultry, fruits, vegetables, nuts, eggs

and

delected and properly treated dairy. This group gives powerful support as well.

Christy,

I think you might have to disable your pop-up blocker. That's what I had to do.

Here's the cooked mayo recipe:

COOKED MAYONNAISE

by Marilyn

2 egg yolks

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon dry mustard

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cayenne

1 cup safflower oil

In a small saucepan, stir together egg yolks, lemon juice, water, honey,

mustard, salt and cayenne with a wooden spoon until blended. Place over very low

heat and stir constantly until it bubbles in one or two spots. Remove from the

heat and let stand 4 minutes. Pour into a blender and blend, slowly adding the

oil in a thin, constant stream. Scrape down the sides as needed. When the

mixture in thick and smooth, chill until ready to use.

Tip: Mayonnaise keeps 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator as long as only CLEAN

utensils are dipped in it. Put a " due " date on the container.

MAYONNAISE

from Allergy Free Cooking

1 egg

1 tsp dry mustard

1/2 tsp sea salt

3 TBL lemon juice

1 cup safflower or sunflower oil

1 TBL hot water (optional)

In a blender, combine the egg, mustard, salt and lemon juice and blend well.

With the

blender still running, add the oil in a steady slow stream and blend until all

oil is

emulsified.

Blend in 1 TBL hot water to stabilize.

Refrigerate in a covered container and use within one week or serve immediately.
