Guest guest
Patty, it's things like this that get me annoyed with insurance companies. I wonder how they'd feel if they were told their insurance was up to it's limit for chemo, so they'll have to pay it out of their own pocket or prepare for the cancer to definitely beat them...makes me sick to hear that they value the $ over a person's life. Chemo, diabetic medicines, heart meds..anything that gives a person a fighting chance to survive should be absorbed by the government and the patient pick up the " tip " ...$20 per month no more for their meds...it truly is sad. My lab work showed I was having an acute panc attack....... have to get my blood checked again next week. If it is normal then I have to have another ERCP.< Hey Patty, I'm sorry that you're having problems again and have another ERCP to look forward to. I've have never needed an ERCP for my problems, but after all the stories I've heard here about the procedure, I realize how fortunate I am, (sometimes...LOL), to only have the problems that I already have. It was good to vent out your frustration with your doctor's receptionist. I'm sure that the good doctor can't get along without her there to lecture all her patients about their medical care.....NOT!! It seems nearly every doctor has someone like that in their office.....my first doctor that I fired had a nurse that was like that, she was constantly critical of the amounts of medication that he prescribed, and several times even wrote out monthly scripts that were LESS dosage than what the doctor had changed me to. Dealing with her was a constant aggrevation. The doctor that I go to now also has a nurse that is clueless about medication, and I have to triple-check everything she writes just to make sure that it's done the way my doctor intended. How long do you need to stay on clears? I'll be thinking about you, and hope that your ERCP goes smoothly. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
