Guest guest
Wow, Corin.... he sounds like he's really been a handful! Well, before you put him out at the curb... Have you been doing epsom salts baths or lotion? It can be calming and help with detoxing. I'm just wondering if he had a lot more gut dysbiosis than you might have thought he did.... and it's taking longer to die-off and detox? That's amazing about the caffeine in the tea. Hang in there! I hope things get better soon. Patti Hyperactiveness Hello, We have been doing the SCD for 25 days now. We started it for myself and our 3 year old ASD son, but decided it would be easier, and perhaps beneficial, if the entire family went on it. I was wondering if anyone has had an active child go to crazy hyperactive? My 4 year old son did this during die-off the first 2 days. He was up until 3 a.m. at least, sitting on his bed yakking a mile a minute to nobody. Since then he's been pretty much back to normal. The past week though has been psychotic! I'm about to just put a sign saying " free to good home " and set him out on the sidewalk! We're pretty sure that he has ADHD, but never had him diagnosed (really no reason to, since we won't drug our children). The only thing that gets us through the day, is giving him some tea when he's at his worst. (From what we've read, caffeine stimulates the brain the same way ritalin does, actually calming an ADHD child.) He does well when we can get him to drink it. His voice lowers to a normal tone instead of yelling everything, he'll sit still and concentrate, etc. He doesn't mean to misbehave, it's like he's just lost all self-control. Has anyone else gone through this? Is it maybe another (but longer more drawn out) die off? Should we go back to the intro diet? I'd REALLY appreciate any help/advice. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi my name is . I have a 5 almost 6 year old who has 'ADHD' he was so hyperactive the first 2 month die off. Just a ping pong ball effect. He also will stay up at night and talk to himself combining reality and tv in his stories he tells himself. The thing that helped us the most was the epson salt bathes then we got the cream from kirkman. Also activated charchol helped. It was like we were killing off toxins but his body just did not know how to get rid off them fast enouhg and we got behaviors. We also started him on Methly b12 from our Dan and that helped him Detox himself as well. He stopped after about 3 weeks then started doing age appr. things that we thought we would never see. Hope you guys get the same. Jess pecanbread , " Patti " wrote: > > Wow, Corin.... he sounds like he's really been a handful! Guest guest
Are you already using cheese or SCD yogurt by any chance? Years ago, my son would be up all night jumping on the bed after dairy, and my daughter got what we called " motormouth " . Symptoms similar to what you describe.
