Do they have colds right now?

If it's nasal congestion, I would do nasal irrigation with salt water. I don't

have time to list it all out here... but you can go here:

.....to get the giest, and then just use a bulb syringe if you don't have a neti

pot.

I would use a steam vaporizer and oil of eucalyptus for them to breath the

vapors (use caution with steam vaporizers!)..... and/or rub good old Vick's

vaporub on their chests.

Other than that, keep they well-hydrated.... maybe using the SCD electrolyte

solution.

SCD Safe Congestion rememdies?

I have two year old twins that have suffered with congestion all of their

lives until SCD. The last time they had a bad problem it turned into a double

ear infection and bronchitis. We came home from the dr. office with prednisone,

antibiotics, and breathing treatments and the worst diarrhea and yeast diaper

rash I have ever seen as a result. I do not want that again.

Please give me some ideas of what I can do to get this congestion cleared up

before we have to see a doctor.
