SCD Safe Congestion rememdies?

I have two year old twins that have suffered with congestion all of their lives

until SCD. The last time they had a bad problem it turned into a double ear

infection and bronchitis. We came home from the dr. office with prednisone,

antibiotics, and breathing treatments and the worst diarrhea and yeast diaper

rash I have ever seen as a result. I do not want that again.

Please give me some ideas of what I can do to get this congestion cleared up

before we have to see a doctor.
