Pineapple Juice, Vanilla & how long to cook fruit?

Dear Robin:

Dole Pineapple juice is legal but I don't like to use it because it comes in

aluminum cans. I worry about traces of Aluminum getting in the juice. I use

Lakewood organic pineapple - only problem - its expensive. At first I allowed

the kids to have diluted juice on the diet but as I have gotten further along

and we now do nut flour cookies w/ honey and smoothies. I only allow one glass

of juice a day or a smoothie, not both. Of course sometimes they do have both

but when they have other sweets to eat, I try to completely avoid juice and

smoothies because of our yeast issues. Eileen Brown
