Guest guest
Heidi would be so proud of you! Thanks for the reminder. I think it is almost time for me to renew mine so I had best go to the site and check! Again Thanks Glenda Dawn - Medic Alert In a message dated 07/28/2002 3:33:26 AM Central Daylight Time, Rpolychondritis writes: Remember to order you medic alert bracelet and wear it all the time, it might save your life. and that is a good thing.Dawn,Thanks for all your nagging and reminders. You're doing a great job. One of your "naggings" reminded me to mention something to the group. When we get our medic alert bracelets or necklaces, we should remember to update the information periodically. I went back to the site just to see if, by chance, there was anything that I might need to update since I got my bracelet a few months ago and....my gosh... so many things have changed. One major item was that I've had to go on insulin. DEFINITELY wanted that to be put on the information that would be given to emergency personnel in the event of any emergency. Some of my other meds have changed also. Needless to say, I updated my information. It seems that once we get the bracelet or necklace we forget about it after that. I know I did. To do this, you go to the same place you ordered your Medic Alert bracelet. Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth of nagging.Love, DISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY.
