Guest guest
I posted a while back but didn't get any responses, & am needing some help with this. I made the yogurt from raw goat's milk. It's tart as goat milk is & has a strong smell. I've been slipping some into a smoothie I share with 2 of the kids & they've been drinking it but my daughter has been putting up a fuss about it lately, so I'm quite sure she's going to be difficult to get it into. She's not getting much at all right now as it is. My autistic son is even more challenging. He drinks nothing except water & takes nothing off a spoon. If he doesn't like it he won't eat it. I smeared a little yogurt with honey on a baked apple (his favorite thing ever) & he picked at it, wouldn't really eat it. That was only about 1/4t; I can't imagine getting any real quantities into him. He needs it so much for healing. What can I do to slip it into them? Thanks in advance, Michele
Guest guest
Tell me what he DOES eat, Michele. How does he take supplements? Or does he? Can he swallow capsules? I know a parent who loaded empty capsules with yogurt and had her child swallow them. Patti Goat Yogurt & Kids My autistic son is even more challenging. Guest guest
He eats anything chunky he can pick up (he is not too adept with a fork either). He takes his supplements through a dropper; not sure I can get the yogurt through that, if I did it would just be a little bit. He does not swallow capsules & I wouldn't encourage it right now due to him not understanding he could choke. Thanks, Michele > > Tell me what he DOES eat, Michele. How does he take supplements?
