here do I go from here?

Well, I don't know how to post a new msg, but have been searching the

internet to find out more about RP. I was diagnosed by an ER Dr. on

Monday. I am now in a state of shock, to say the least, and am

unsure of my next steps. I had an ear infection last week, and

Friday my face infront of my ear became tender. Saturday my face was

swollen including my left eye, with a birth mark redness infront of

my ear including my left cheek and brow. Sunday after the pain and

swelling had moved to include my neck and head & skull and scared I

was going to have brain swelling, I went to the E.R. They treated me

first for Cellulitis, with an IV every 8 hours of antibiotic. Monday

evening the Dr. told me of his findings after contacting the

U.Washington Medical Sciences. He put me on an oral antibiotic and

Prednazone for a week. Advised that I see the Rhumatologist who

comes to town once a month, and gave me a bunch of medical literature

that he had made copies for me to read.

That is where I am at. What happens now?

The swelling has subsided a lot. Below my eye is still puffy and the

redness on my cheek is subsiding. I have a dull headache, like

sinus. My nose looks Ok, and so do my ears.

Now what............Can anybody give me any advise or comfort?
