Guest guest
Hi all!! Happy New Year!! We did get the dog last night, they say she is a German shepard mix but aside from her coloring she doesn't really resemble a German shepard. Anyway, whatever she is, she is a sweetheart. She is really cute. She just had surgery yesterday so last night she was moving pretty gingerly and we had to carry her upstairs. She seems to be house trained already too. But she is very skinny, looks almost skeletal. You can see every rib. She refused dog food last night but ate a little this am. I scrambled her a couple of eggs and she did eat that happily. I guess we just have to give her time to get adjusted to eating regularly. I don't know how long she was a stray or if she was mistreated but I am anxious to get her to the vet and see if there is anything special we need to do for her. I'll try and get her in tomorrow. puppy kisses, M mom of Nick age 21 nocf and age 19 wcf [CFSupport] Another dog Hi all, I just got a call that our new little dog is being spayed today and we will most likely be able to pick her up later this afternoon. What a great New year's present! I really hope we get her today, otherwise we won't be able to until Friday. Anyway I just wanted to let you know, I am excited! we are thinking of naming her Lucy. Any other suggestions? Happy New Year 2004 to all on conncoll and keep Bart and out of Kara's party! love, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ CysticFibrosis mailing list CysticFibrosis@... http://chestnut.conncoll.edu/mailman/listinfo/cysticfibrosis
