Guest guest
Maureen, Xylitol, like mannitol, erythritol, sorbitol, and most other items ending in " ol " is a sugar alcohol, and it forbidden on SCD. These sweeteners are allowed to call themselves " sugar free " because normally our guts can't digest them. But for the bad bugs in sick tummies, sugar alcohols provide a feast. -- Marilyn (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA) Undiagnosed IBS 25 Years, SCD Five Years Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
