Guest guest
My son got up this morning and wasn't really himself. At first he just seemed tired. He ate a ripe banana, then his cooked apple and yogurt. He didn't want to eat anything else, which was different for him also because he is a big breakfast eater. He kept just laying down in the floor. The school called me this morning and said he had thrown up at recess. He came home and just wanted to lay around. He ended up vomitting quite a bit more in the afternoon. Since then I have been giving him the electrolyte drink with water and some of his white grape juice. He seems to be feeling a little better this evening, but I just noticed that his breath has a strong medicine smell. Has anyone experienced that? Anyone know anything about it? We have been doing SCD now for 1 month. We are still at stage one. We've had two formed bm's, and even though the others have still been very soft, we haven't had to give him anything to make him go and he has gone everyday. That in itself is a gigantic step forward. Could this be from a big die- off. Usually with a virus the breath has that foul sick smell. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
