Guest guest
This IS good news! Hang in there, ! n Eilish update Admission is going well. We got home this afternoon to do home IV's. Her bronc. showed nothing at all, so again that's great. And although she blew a great PFt last months admission (123%), and she still has a slight cough she blew even better today (145%). The dr's are amazed that she blows that well. Must be all the balloons she blows up. They also started to teach her PEP today. We had to buy the gadget and when the physio comes out she will have 1 session using PEP and the other session do CPT. At least by the time she is ready for school camps she should be able to do PEP and we wont have to tag along with her. She really enjoyed this admission ( like always). The ward was virtually empty so she had the run of it. She also helped the nurse behind the desk (nurse worked, Eilish played on the computer). And I loved that because it gave me time to read. So I hope everyone had a Happy New Year. Liam and I played UNO till midnight as we were here alone. (Australia)
Guest guest
Dear , How great that it worked so well both for you & Eilish. I am very pleased to hear THAT TOO. iT SURE ISN'T FUN BEING IN THE CLUB (HOSPITAL-HEHE) but, EILISH WAS FEELING WELL ENOUGH TO AT LEAST ENJOY SOME TIME. how WAS THE SKATING ? --oh dang- . I hit that dang cap key, Please excuse..Maybe when I grow up, I can learn how to type....OR do it my next time around -hehe. The PEP is really very helpful. That is all ERIN did before she got the vest. now that is all she uses ---when ---she does anything. Her activities are even more strenuous for her breathing then anything they can suggest. -Remember , she is a cross country runner & now she is doing it in the mountains of N.C. in her college town of BOONE & higher. Her numbers are always great , soooooooooo, we are praying they will stay that way. She does space herself & gets rest also. Now that you all are home , how much longer will she be on them .? (aren't you glad you got recertified now) :) That will also help you all at home too, BUT it may cut down on your reading time--hehe-just kidding. They showed some of the celebrations around the world on TV of new years eve. Australia looked like they had a really balmy time of it & truly enjoyed themselves. They interviewed some folks visiting here in Orlando from Australia, & they said it was a bit cooler here, but very much like home.. they were having a blast. You all will have to come over some time too. I am out of office until Monday . One of my grandsons, SHAY , is coming over today to help me clean out my wee ponds in back patio & vacuum up the leaves. It is covered out there. You cant see the flowers for all the mess from the leaves--------hehe, It gets to heavy for me to do anymore. so ...It is nothing to Shay. He is 6 " 4 and a real doll, so it is Nothing to him . & he is so very pleasant ----HE suggested he come over & do it. I said no, he was only home a few more days from college(he goes to FL Un. up in Tallahassee, FL. ) & to enjoy himself...He said I will Grandmom, doing something for you is MY pleasure. Now isn't that great for a 20 year old... I am happy to say they are all that way. KIDS & GRANDKIDS are wonderful !! I know folks will all agree with me on that. You can hardly wait ----right ?? hahahehe Anyway, off to a wonderful new year. All those numbers & all else will stay super & feeling really well. When do yours get back to school ?---- Gosh, sorry this is so long. I just started " talking " to you & ------awayyyyyyyyy it goes:) have a lovely weekend & Eilish feeling really well. Best to you & your dear hubby , , & of course your precious kiddo's LOVE & HUGS GrandmomBev Eilish update Admission is going well. We got home this afternoon to do home IV's. Guest guest
Glad to hear that she is feeling better!!!!!!!! I hope tomorrow goes well. eilish update Were exactly half way through these IV's. On the home stretch now. As usual her cough has gone by the 2nd day but they are not letting her stop them early like last time as we don't want to be back on them next month. She came to work with me yesterday. I don't know what its like in other countries but here I am responsible for her and she must stay with me except like this morning when took her to the physio (who meets us at my mums) and then she's back with me. We stayed at work for 6 hours and the physio met us there. Luckily I work in the medical field and have been there 18 years so my boss is a angel. 6 hours in s surgery with Eilish who was bored nearly sent me stir crazy, but we survived. Tomorrow she has review at the hsp. which is tob. levels etc. Looking forward to sleeping in. (Australia)
