Guest guest
I am a school teacher and as of right now, I know that I can not go back to work in August. I am planning on filing the FMLA and hoping to buy myself 3 more months. I've never done this before. Am I just going to have to pay my part of my health insurance? I am not on my husbands insurance yet and we are going to call to see if I can enroll, but we don't know when his enrollment period is. If I lose my job God forbid, what can I do about health insurance? Do you think my husband's will pick me up or will I be considered a pre-existing condition even though I don't have a diagnosis? We are nervous about this situation because we all know how important having good health insurance is. RIght now I have BC/Bs PPO the sate health plan of SC. Any of your advice/opinions would be appreciated. Holly
