Guest guest
I am new to this group and am in the starting process of everything. Was anyone told that once you have this type of surgery that if you were to be in an accident, etc. and were in of a feeding tube that the doctors would not be able to insert one? A girlfriend of mine had the gastric bypass surgery performed out here in California in May 2000 (she is doing great.......80 lbs thinner). She was just advised of the above yesterday by a doctor. Is this true??? Does anyone have any information on this? You would think she would have been given this information prior to her surgery. Thanks, Christy
