Guest guest
I second that. We have United Healthcare in Boston and used NOPCO. It was a long process but we finally were able to get it paid out. The handling of the claims was the one complaint I did have about Nopco...they operated at a turtle's pace. I think we only ended up at 80% payment but MUCH better than zero. FYI, it didn't require any special appeals letters, just a lot of nagging :-) Hope this helps. > > hello everyone! > > I posted a while back about Definity/UHC not wanting to cover my son's > helmet. Guest guest
Congrats on getting UHC to cover the helmet! I am definitely interested in seeing your letters - we are in the process of writing our first appeal to UHC.
