I had a Beger's pancreatectomy in 2000, and was very well for almost

3 years. I then had pain and investigations showed the rim of the

pancreas which is left behind in this procedure to preserve the blood

supply to the duodenum, had become inflammed. I then had a re-do of a

Beger's procedure in November, 2003.

Recently i have been admitted to hospital with symtoms which feel

like an acute attack.

Can anyone offer any info?

Thanks

Sue
