Guest guest
Mega Dittos from me too!!! My surgery was Jan 10, 2000 and I have lost almost 100 lbs and I am doing wonderfully too. The MGB SAVED my life. I was on the verge of death when I had my surgery because at age 56 my blood pressure was out of sight and I was on 3 different meds just for blood pressure and I was having breathing problems. That's all behind me now and I eat lots of good food and I love to cook and life is good. Will be happy to answer questions to anyone if needed. in Missouri MGB 1 10 2000 and flying high!!!! Guest guest
I have tried to stay out of this stuff with T, but all you pre- ops can surely see she is not a happy camper so therefore she is going to down Dr. R. Please don't let this sway your decision to have the safest possible weight loss surgery..I had it 4/20/2000. I have lost 80 pounds.... Zoey 4/20/2000 262/182/135 WAY TO GO ZOEY. WELL SAID. This surgery has changed my life also and I'm only 2 1/2 months post- op. I've lost 40 lbs and I've had no problems except when " I " push the limits on what I eat. I agree that T. has an ax to grind and it would be tragic if she sways people who really need this surgery. One point that keeps going around in my head is that if Dr. R had ageed to do the revision (which would have been unethical to do within the first year of surgery) she would still be singing his praises. He's not God... he's an imperfect human being (just like the rest of us) who is trying to do some good in this world the best way he knows how.
