I know it is hard to swallow however you lost weight before the

surgery so like me that might be a factor. Margie was telling me her friend

did the same thing and then one day BOOM she dropped down and lost 90 lbs. I

know this doesn't help, but I too am trying to have hope. :)

Hi Donna --

Thanks for the kind words. Not losing the weight is one of the

risks of the surgery and I'm just one of the lucky ones, I guess.

Sigh.

But fortunately for most people, there's a low statistical

probability that it will happen to you.

Kind regards,

Fine. Ask Margie what week after surgery her friend had her

sudden weight drop.

If you look at the statistics for EVERY kind of weight loss

surgery, NOBODY suddenly starts losing at a greater rate of

loss in the 3rd to 4th month.

In fact, without exception, weight loss is greatest in the

first two months. By the third/fourth months, it is

approximately 1/2 of what it was in the first two months,

by the 8th month, it is down to around 5 pounds a month or

less.

NOBODY -- not one person that I can find anywhere -- suddenly

loses faster in the 3rd/4th/etc. months. It just doesn't

happen.

So you can wish on a star, you can click your heels together

three times, you can pray your butt off, you can rub a magic

lamp, whatever -- it ain't gonna happen.

Dr. Rutledge's OWN statistics also show there is no -- zero --

none -- likelihood that my weight loss or your weight loss

will be greater in the 3rd/4th/etc. months.

You and I have *both* seen the majority of the weight we

will lose already. Period. That's the way it is.

Now, either we get a revision or not.

Kind regards,

of what it was in the

I am the 6th person that I know of personally. There were

4 people out of the 90+ patients that I contacted as

patient contacts who had lost 40-50 pounds and stopped.

One of those 4 ladies was at clinic when I was, May 16,

and she going to have a revision but her insurance would

not pay for the surgery.

Trish and I are the other ones I know of.

Dr. R. has not responded to my most recent email about this.

In July, he told me to wait two months, which I've done.

Thanks for the kind words, !

Kind regards,
