To Mark and All That Responded to the Insomnia Issue

Thanks for the info Mark....sad to say but I'm already on Trazodone

for sleep and STILL don't sleep most nights....go figure!! Guess

I'll have to check with the doc if there is another drug I can take

for break thru that wouldn't pose this insomnia problem. Although

it looks as if all opioids may pose this problem from reading the

below info. I've found that day 2 on the Duragesic patch that I get

(a) the most pain relief, and ( am sleepy all day and all night.

The other two days forget it!!

Another question to you all: Those that use the Duragesic

patch...since I'm taking the same amount of Percocets for break thru

on days 1 and 3 (of the 72 hr patch) that I was taking without the

patch...do you think I should talk to my doc about raising me up to

the 75mcg patch? I'm just scared too because of the " drug seeking "

thing. But, I probably will anyway because the only day the 50mcg

patch is helpful at all is as I said above only on day 2!!
