Guest guest
Try http://groups.msn.com/cysticfibrosis2chat/chat. They have chat times posted. Also, the Chat function is already part of Cfparents on Yahoogroups, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/cfparents/chat I've never seen anyone in this room thought. CF Chatroom I despise chatrooms in general. But maybe one for all of us dealing w/cf affecting our lives would be a good way to go, wouldnt it be easier to follow than all of us sitting on here for hours waiting to see eachother's posts? Its almost comical:):)Yahoo has a list of groups to choose from why cant we do that? Guest guest
> Is there a reason do you know why people dont go there? > > Patty Hi Patty, one reason might be the different time zones. In the past there have been attempts to set dates for a regular chat, but people couldn't find a compromise. The other reason might be that people don't know how to get into the CFparents chat room and don't want to enter other public chat rooms. I am personally not a chatter and since I am six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time I am basically out of the loop. So I have never worked on the idea to get a chat started. But we had more than 100 messages sent to the list yesterday and on the long run that's not bearable for many members. So we have to think of something to keep personal chatting away from the list without losing those chatters. The CFparents chat room could solve that problem. So if you (or anyone else who is familar with Chats) could create a step-by-step explanation of how to get into the CFparents chat room (register with Yahoo, download the Yahoo software, enter the chat etc), that would be great! And then you have to determine a date for the chat. Probably you cannot but to have two chats, one for the east coast and one for the west. Good Luck!
