Guest guest
you would probably have to take them off because they hook you up to a pulse ox machince to measure the level of oxygen in your blood that is going to your brain but they can't do that if the acrylic is blocking it. I know for sure they said no nail polish. So I would assume no acrylic nails either. in Kannapolis Acrylic Nails > What's the word on acrylic nails. Guest guest
I wore acrylic nails AND nail polish, I only had to take the polish off from one nail, and the nurse supplied the remover!!! Just prior to my surgery (7/20) a lot of recent post-ops had posted that they had had no problems at the hospital with acrylic nails, and given their experiences, I didn't want to take mine off. (What a pain--literally!) Hope this helps-- --a in CT MGB 7/20/00 > What's the word on acrylic nails. Do we have to take them off or are > bare toes OK?
