Guest guest
Jen, Thanks for the suggestion of the metamucil. I hadn't thought about trying that, but have just recently been reading some information about increasing fiber intake for easing IBS symtoms. Before this recent experience with IBS (or whatever it is), I had been one of those people who only had bowel movements 2 - 3 times a week. <sorry for the subject matter ...don't mean to offend anyone> My mother always freaked at this, but this schedule was " normal " for me my entire life. (I am 42 now.) I know am supposed to drink alot more water than what I do, so I am working on that - especially now since the diarrhea is so bad. I never thought I'd miss a solid bowel movement~ As for your peanut butter consumption...... I noticed years ago that if I ate peanut butter, it would make me have very vivid dreams. I ate it a few nights ago and was chasing 2-headed yellow cats with purple tails and red eyes. ....All that from about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter before bedtime! Cam and I had been told to eat peanut butter or a handful of nuts if we were not able to digest protein from another source. I'm not sure it is worth the mindgames my head plays on it!!
