Guest guest
Hello again from Stockholm. I am learning so much from you and now I have a problem I would like to ask you about. As this situation with CP is fairly new to me, 8-9 months and with a doctor who doesn´t understand and see no reason in giving me advice concerning diet, how to take the enzymes and so on I am using you again. Someone out there with an answer to the following problems? I am sticking to a 30-40 gram fat 1-1,5 oz diet as adviced from Tony Crispin UK and the antioxidants. My doctors has given me Creon Forte 25000 to take as I like 1--3 per meal, I have asked for 10.000 to take with snacks. I have these smelly winds from my stomach, I have had that on the agenda before. It feels as if I am craving for sweets and after advice from your group again try to avoid it. Natural fruitsugar and boiled fruit, raisins and marmelade. Most of my protein comes from milkproducts, yogurts, buttermilk, glutenfreebread, ricecakes, rice, tiny bits of chicken or turkey at the most 60-80 gr /day 2-3 oz. I do boil some potatoes, carrots, but I am sick and tired of it, so the easiest is the different milkproducts and lowfat cheese (spread, cottage). I am afraid of trying out new things because I dont know how I will react. Why these awful bowelmovements again, wind, smell your know!!! No pain for weeks, I am so happy but how to continue with the food? What do you eat? Do you have any special food that seems to be mild, kind to the pancreas. Perhaps all the milkproducts are wrong? But what to eat? And the sweet tooth (I have never liked sweets especially before). My doc says I can eat anything, no restrictions, he doesn´t get the painattacks I do! I have though since my last long pain and crampperiod ended put on 5-6 kg 11-12 pounds! I get up at night because I am hungry, again milkproducts, riceporridge, ricecakes with marmelade. I know it doesn´t sound like a healthy and good diet, but I dont know what to eat. Before 2 weeks back I looked like a skeleton. I did get some really good advice about similar questions some week back and if any of you have the time and good advice I would be grateful to you for any more advice there can be. I do read and think of all of you who are having surgery, and Mark Armstrong who was the first to welcome me, I pray for you all and thanks God I have found you. All the best from Sonja (I am searching all over Sweden for a pancreologist as adviced and I WILL find that doctor! There must be someone out there!)
