I wondered about second opinions. You sound very informed, Sassy and I'm sure you did a second or more. >>> I always recommend a second opinion~ goes 2 the old saying "2 minds R always better then 1". Oh I had more then a few opinions on mine. 3 within my area point blank looked at my x~rays and said "beyond my capability"... then there was doctor 4, 5 & 6 which I just flat out did NOT LIKE~ their manner of speaking about the issue or their bedside manners with regards to patients SUCKED.... 7 was a maybe and 8 a huge NO NO... (3 minute man as I called him!) 9th was my specialist that's known to "fix other doctors screw-ups" but it was his work ethics, the way he dealt hands on with his patients before me but more importantly... I was actually a person & NOT a chart! I had 50 questions & he had 50 answers.... plus give me options ABC I hadn't even considered and he wasn't worried about lunch or "fluffin his wallet" with the next case! Some doctors are just flat out MONEY HUNGRY and even through there's a simplier "CHEAPER for the patient" solution to be had... they'll automatically start at surgery.... and and and big ticket collections to ensure they can afford to pay their malpractice insurance I suppose! Some trust their doctors so much... they'll never question their judgement... and that'll hopefully not come to be a huge mistake for them.

I've searched the past posts for ideas of what type of physician to see for a

second opinion on the treatment of plagiocephaly. It appears most people go to

a neurosurgeon or cranial plastic surgeon. Could anyone that got a second

opinion from either one share their experience? I'm curious what insight or

solutions these specialists may have.

Thanks!
