Guest guest
my twin 4 mos old babies seem to have a lot of runny stools due to the formula. we go from milk based to lactose free to soy. soy seems to make them more solid but they have difficult time pooping. i haven't had them tested for milk sensitivities but as a precaution should i put them on the kind that is for babies who have a hard time digesting proteins? what kind should i get? i plan on putting them on scd also. it can't hurt, rite? after my autistic son stayed on jar baby food until almost 2 1/2 yrs old i refuse to buy any jarred babyfood for my babies. they will get freshly pureed foods only since i have to make them for their older brother. one of the babies got her 1st ear infection and she hasn't even turned 4 mos. hear we go again. i wouldn't allow the doc to give her antibiotics after what happened to my son. i have a feeling that all the antibiotics for his ear infections might have something to do with his autistic tendencies. is it necessary to vaccinate my babies? i am so afraid to after my son's diagnosis. is it true that if i wait until after the babies turn 2 yrs old they only have to get 1/2 the amount of vaccinations? is it necessary to do any of them? can't i get a waiver when i send them to school? Guest guest
There is a formula recipe in Elaine's book in the recipe section at the back. It's not to be used ong term, I believe, and someone who actually knew Elaine personally can probably tell you how long she thought you could use it. You can get a prescription for a formula called Neocate through you pediatrician. If you want to email me privately, I will give you an alternative vaccine schedule that my dan doctor gave me for any other children that I have. This is a total disclaimer that I am not a medical doctor, and so you can't take this as medical advise. My person opinion is to hold off on vaccines if you do intend to give them, and the alternative vaccine schedule will show you that. Just a little side note, and some of the senior members of the group can back me up on this. My dad and mom both told me that children didn't receive their vaccines until they were nearing entering kindergarten or even in the early years of elementary school back in the day. A friend who is a nurse told me that the reason why doctors prefer to give all of the vaccines to babies is because it is so much easier for the doctor to hold a baby down than a screaming, kicking, and fighting little child. My pediatrician admitted that this was true. If you do chose not to vaccinate or space the vaccines out or refuse just some of the vaccines, your child cannot be refused entrance into school because of this. The school will try to tell you that you must have these vaccines for your child to be permitted to enter school. It is absolutely not true. I can tell you more about how to protect yourself about that if you want also. The procedure varies by state. Anywy, email me off list if you want more help sorting out this vaccine thing.
