, I know from my last 2 flares while lowering my pred, that if I

added Advil, or any other anti inflamatory, it really helped. I don't think

it could hurt. But please don't listen to me.. I'd hate to get you in

trouble. I hated to go back up on the pred and just added it to see if it

would help and it did.

Please take care and let us know what happens. I know how bad the rib flares

are, especially in the back.

hugs

Ok,

I am very frustrated and not sure what to do. I have been lowering

my pred. and have had my metho upped for the last 3 weeks, at 22.5.

I finally got rid of the rib pain for the first time in 6 months and

had about a week and a half that was free of the constant pain, just

some of what I assumed to be " break through pain " . For the last

couple of days, the frequency of these pains has increased, although

they are relatively short lived, but now my back (ribs) are hot to

the touch again. I won't try to lower my pred. until I see Dr.

Buckner next week, but I don't know if this is normal, as I've been

lowering the pred, and I should just hang in there, or if I should up

the pred. back to 22.5?????????? I really don't know how to gauge

this. I'd like to hang in there at the 20 until I see her on the

2nd,but I don't know if that's the right thing to do. Can anyone

advise, based on their own experience? UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!
