Sandy,

I have had the same problem as you on several occasions - not

receiving messages only to discover they had been bounced (Whatever

that means!) I have had to go into my set up for the group, and the

procedure to unbounce the messages will come up. Hope you can sort it

out.

Sue

Dear Sandy,

That's such good news to hear. I've been waiting to hear your results, and

your doctor is right, a 5.8% is a non-diabetic number and it's time to stop

worrying about this. You must be so relieved! I just got my HBA1c score

back, also, and mine was 5.6%....you can see by that that I work really hard

to keep mine under control, but can only do so by frequent testing and

frequent injections of insulin to correct it. As long as I can keep doing this

I'll

have less chance of developing diabetic complications later on.

I'm hypothyroid, also. Mine was diagnosed when they found out I was

diabetic in 2003. Yes, it could account for your irregular blood sugar

readings, as well as the difficulty you've had losing weight. Other symptoms

of it would be fatigue, puffy eyes or bags under your eyes, hair loss,

extremely dry hair and skin, and heavy menses, to name a few. I can't

remember all the symptoms but I know when I started on Synthroid it did

make a tremendous difference in my energy levels and so much

improvement in the status of my hair, which had been falling out in handfuls.

The medication should make you feel so much better.

Sandy, I'm really glad to hear that this is what was behind all your problems.

Hypothyroidism is easy to control, just a pill every day.....much better than

what we were afraid of, huh?

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
