Guest guest
Hi Chrissy! I'm sure your sand stone will be just that;not sure that I've ever seen one actually. Funnily enough I bought a pedicure kit today containing pumice stone and lots of other lovely things for feet, files and creams and footbath etc. I thought I'd treat my poor feet as they've had a bit of a rough time......pun, pun!.....lately. Well, Manchester is only 45 mins drive away but it does have some lovely shops, nicer than Liverpool on the whole. It's also just a change of scene. I'm actually from Manchester originally but left at the age of 17, just a few years ago! Yes, we have shopping malls but maybe not as big as in the States. I generally prefer town centres just for the atmosphere I think. I bought a nice linen trouser suit so I'll have to stay in work a bit longer to wear it! Thankfully only one student saw me fall. She's a delightful girl and gasped in horror and came running over to help me. I was too shocked and jolted to even speak to her. She took me into the nearest classroom where there was a teacher sitting marking (no kids) and she took over. Luckily it was a food technology room (used to be called " cookery " !!!) so there was ice, running water, coffee etc. right there on the spot. Later I went to the classroom where the student was and went in to thank her. The whole class clapped as I went out....whether more for me or for her I don't know, but it was nice anyway! Yes, I'll just have to wait for the ESR news. No choice really! The results take a few days to come through. At least I'm not in panc pain to-day. Have to take each day as it comes. Your day sounds just lovely, Chrissy. It must be great to be by the sea and have warm enough weather to enjoy it! That's what was so nice in Spain of course. Yes, Jim hauled me out of the tub. Not the most glamorous of sights!!! My yelps could well have reached our retired anaesthetist neighbour....and he lives three houses down!! Carry on enjoying things Chrissy and DON'T WORRY ABOUT WORK. Please jsut keep on doing well. It's nice that your doc so much wants you to do well but you can't feel guilty about things last time. He well knows that the panc is a difficult organ with a mind of its own! Take care. With love and good wishes, Fliss
