Guest guest
> Hi, just wanted to ask you what kits exactly are there to test at home for diabetes?? Could I get them from Walmart? I was just at the doctors (2nd time in a week) but I didn't mention the sugar cravings and such. Kris, You really should involve your doctor in this, but you can get glucose testing kits at any pharmacy, Walmart would probably have them. Often they are located close to the pharmacy counter. If you can't find a Home Diabetes Testing kit, ask the pharmacist. They may keep them behind the counter. At our Walmart they are locked up in a glass display case. There are also urine testing kits for diabetes, but I don't find them to be accurate. Make sure you read the instructions carefully and do as instructed. If you find anything out of the ordinary, I would consult your doctor right away. If you involved him, he could write a prescription for a glucose meter for you and then you wouldn't have to pay full price for one. Think good thoughts, Heidi Heidi H.
