DR R APPROVED ME YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!! My whole being wants to scream!!!!!! I'm hoping to get October 26th... Any littermates for that day?!?!?!?!?!?!! OMG!!! It feels SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Good to say that!!!!! My fiance and I were just wondering what I will absolutely NEED when I have my surgery? I know I will need the meds and will get prescriptions for those and of course the vitamins/citrucel/tums... And, I know I won't need to bring many " personal " items with me... But, what do I NEED? What could you absolutely positively NOT do WITHOUT!?!?! Also, Do we have to take citrucel or can we take metamucil? I thought they were the same thing??? HHHEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! >> Yes I'm SOOOO happy for you! You have SO earned this! I have goosebumps! You absolutely need close going in.That's it. I suggest those be loose fitting around the abdomen. You'll need the pre-op hibiclens. I suggest you bring copies of everything in your packet. I suggest you fill out your consent form ahead of time(don't sign it,though). The morning of surgery is so .....distracting,and I found writing a sentence for each paragraph challenging(no jokes here, okay?). I suggest cottonballs for the ears-can't STAND overhead speakers in a hospital ( not that I slept-I walked so much the nurse told me to get in bed!LOL! ) They provide everything you need in the hospital. Post-op you might want to pack some juice boxes,or canned soup-you won't be that hungry. I really enjoyed my body pillow from home, too. Keep us updated! YIPPPEEEE! Guest guest
Hi .. Thank you!!! I am writing down every suggestion I get... As far as the sentence for each paragraph, can we do that ahead of time or do we HAVE to do that at the hospital.. I can tell you right now that I am horrible with tests.. I was always the type who would know every single answer until I walked in the door to take a test.. It was horribleand I got failing grades many times because of it as a kid... And I know the pressure is going to be at least 10 times worse than any test I took in school!!!
