Guest guest
I am so sorry that you are not feeling better. I can relate to your frustration. Dont feel that your friends do not want to be bothered with you, thats not true. I felt that way for a long while, you know. thoughts like, well I am not fun, I cant do this or that. Well Sonja you can, if you break wind, blame it on the fat man down the isle and laugh with your friends. You do realize that everybody, even Queen E. farts, right! I dont know about , he's such a tight a--, it probably comes out of his ears.... hey that explains it. lol. I worked for as long as I possibly could. I think the main reason, out side of the fact that I am a stubborn pain in the butt, was that I drank a high protein (soy) and highly nutritios shake. Actually I used Slimfast, it is very healthy, I like the orange juice one as it gave me much less gas. There are plenty of cheaper ones, my GI suggested Carnation Instant breakfast, it is also very healthy but I had problems with the milk ones (gas). But I would have 3,4 even 5 of those a day in order to keep my strength up. I also ate a lot, and I mean lot of fruit; and processed soup. Healthy Choice and Progresso have some great low fat high protien soups that are very good. It kept me going a lot longer then the docs had imagined. I had Chicken noodle soup almost every day for lunch at work. Its when I got home that I wouldn't eat. My family did not like the soups so Icooked for them but rarely ate any. Any way, try the shakes and the soups along with the gluten free, also get some vitamins, you can have energy with this disease. You can have a life, you can have fun, just listen to Fliss and I, she still going strong and I faught it like hell. I will be gone for th enext week or so, but try it out and let me know how it goes when I get back. Really and truly, even the docs said they didn't know how I kept going with the damage I had. Energy, we need energy, and that comes from our food. Try it you'll feel so much better, and the vitamins too. Good Luck,
