My ANA came back negative the first few times. Then I have had 2 possitive

tests. It came back " speckled " . I don't think this had anything to do with

my dx of Rp.

Yes, Lori, I had this done but my rheumy said it was

to rule out other rheumatic diseases. It does not

prove anything either pos or negative about rp. There

is no definitive test. It is usually diagnosed on

symptoms, and you need I think three out of five of

the more common ones. Love Liz
