Guest guest
, I am sorry to hear about . My husband and I are huge animal lovers and we have always agreed that if one of our dogs were to become ill, we would do our best to make them comfortable, but we were not going to pay outrageous amounts of money to keep them alive. Outrageous to me is over $500.00. So I think you made the best decision for as difficult as it was. e
Guest guest
I'm so sorry . It is so hard losing our pets even if we have had them a short time. I hope Mom Mom gets a healthier dog next time. love,
Guest guest
, How awful. Having just lost a animal I know how heartbreaking it is. Do you think you might get another? (Australia) Sad news about the dog Thanks to all who tried to help us with the doggy incontinence problem. Well, as it turns out there was something else wrong with the dog other than just incontinence. Poor girl started bleeding. She must have really been in some pain. My MIL took her to the vet and they recommend a surgery but then said that it would cost over $1000 and that she probably wouldn't survive. So, she had to take the only other option for poor and have her put to sleep. We are all very upset. We didn't tell that she had to be put to sleep, only that had to go back to the SPCA for surgery and that she wouldn't be coming back to Mom Mom's house. My eyes are leaking as I type this and we only had the dog a few days.
Guest guest
Hi, I want to thank everyone for being so kind about the dog. I didn't realize how attached I was to her until she started bleeding and we got the news. has been asking a few questions about why 's not going to come back to Mom Mom's and has cried a bit but her big cousin has been staying with us this weekend so she's a bit distracted. I don't know if my MIL will get another dog and I know that our 2 cats and my hubby don't really want one at our house, so we will have to be content to visit my sister in laws dogs once in a while. (my MIL lives very close by and we took the dog out/helped with her everyday) Sad news about the dog Thanks to all who tried to help us with the doggy incontinence problem. Guest guest
Oh my dear, That is so sad. I do remember the close attachment we all had to our cat -RUSTY . We had him since birth .....and the 18 years. A really long time for kitties......He was just part of the family. But, he is at peace now & I know in time Your MIL will feel that too. It is just so hard. Special thoughts for each of you as you help each other thru these sad days & the ones to come. Try to remember all the fun things that happened with jenny. Take care LOVE & HUGS, GrandmoMBEV Re: Sad news about the dog Hi, I want to thank everyone for being so kind about the dog.
