Hi Kate,

Goat yogurt or sheep yogurt are recommended for children who were

dairy free before starting SCD.

Some ASD children are able to tolerate cow yogurt. If you do try cow

yogurt, introduce it very slowly. If you do try cow yogurt and you get

bad results it is not our responsibility. If you post about bad results

with cow yogurt, please make it clear that you were using cow yogurt

and that it is not the official yogurt of this list.

We usually suggest that you start with a tiny amount( 1/8 tsp) in case

there is die off. That will help minimize the die off and avoid

confusing die off symtoms with intolerance of dairy. If tolerated

gradually increase by doubling the amount every 3-4 days.
