HI - I was wondering if anyone gives there children melatonin to help

them sleep? My 12 y/o was having an awful time going to sleep. He'd

go to bed around 8:30 or 9:00 and maybe at mid-night he'd come out

and say he still couldn't get to sleep. The melatonin has worked

great, but now I have heard some stuff about it that makes me think I

shouldn't give it to him.

We moved all his therapy and nebs to early in the evening instead of

later and also changed a few meds at his check-up thinking that would

help...but it didn't.

He also had his flu shot but man am I worried about this outbreak. I

hope like _ell we can stay away from that!

I have also decided that I don't know didily squat about this

disease. Blake had his check up last week, and I was thinking they

were going to admit him. I had been noticing that he hadn't been

eating very good, tired all the time, coughing more, and pale. And

the nurse called one day from school and said he was having trouble

breathing. Sooo, I'm thinking he's just not doing very good. Well

we go to his appt. and his PFT's are the highest they have ever been,

his lungs sounded good and he had gained weight and grew taller.

Just blew me away. Well anyway it was good news.

Does anyone know how to find out how many CF patients are seen at the

clinic? He goes to Childrens Mercy in Kansas City, MO>

Thanks,

skc
