Thanks for that ...I can't tell you how profoundly sad and

upset I am about this...it's 7:50 am next day...and I'm sitting here

crying uncontrollably. I really thought I had found a good doc in

that he talked about " microscopic, cellular-level damage occurring

first in any disease process. " (His words!!) And now this flip-

flop...he acted as though I was bothering him when I insisted on

seeing him after the procedure when he wrote the words of " there

were minimal changes of chronic pancreatitis. I am not sure that I

can attribute your pain to those changes. " Then, the

shocker!! " return to work tomorrow " and " resume alcohol tomorrow

(under the nutrition section no less!!) I haven't worked in about 3

months now....and I certainly haven't had alcohol in at least that

long now - longer actually, more like 5 months or so. Guess I'm

just having a pity party of sorts today....but I am saddened that

such a long time has elapsed now and I'll have to find another GI

doc. I'm also worried that when this report gets back to my PCP

that he'll be leery about prescribing me any more of the duragesic

patch...which has been the first thing to actually take away most,

if not all, of the pain in literally months!!
