Guest guest
Hey All Well I stayed in bed yesterday with my Tylenol COld watching movies on the Sci Fi Channel...no Im not a Sci Fi Freak but they were playing Halloween movies......LOL I have also been working on Camp for next summer. I have a lot planned. I am hoping to expland the camp to 5 days and will have full food service and everything. SOme of the things we are hoping to have is : 1. Horse back RIding 2. Swimming 3. Eating and BBQing 4. Group GAmes 5. Challenge Course 5. Of Course our favorite of this summer...White Water Rafting ! ! ! I am looking at several places to hold camp in NC and Tennessee....I want to hold it up in the mountains again b/c their was no humidity, absoutely beautiful, and cooler then most of the state of NC and the South. I fell in love with it up there...I really did. I have also been working on the support group in this area. We are supposed to do the Ropes Course the end of next month. We meet up at a YMCA camp once a month and do all sorts of hgames and stuff. The kids really like it...older kids and teens of course. This keeps me busy and feeling important I guess you'd say. It gives me some meaning to my boring wheezy life...LOL I am trying to stay well enough to attend the TX meeting in Nov. Its in ville,Fla and with the Mayo there. We'll see what they say. Ive been losing weight again so I guess thats good. Ive lost about 13 pounds this month. Anyways....if you want to be contacted about the camp this summer please email me and I'll add you to our list. Its going to be for kids 9 and over... Kids 9-12 will do the typical fun camp experience Teens and Young Adults will do our Adventure Program. Each group will do fun activities but they will be more relaxed for those tooo sick, too young or less adventuresome...=) Thats it for now ! ! ! Time to hit the Tylenol again...=) Becki YOUR FAVORITE LilGooberGirl YOUNGLUNG EMAIL SUPPORT LIST www.topica.com/lists/younglung Pediatric Interstitial Lung Disease Society http://groups.yahoo.com/group/InterstitialLung_Kids/
