It's very hard to deal with it, because it was all so sudden,...none of my friends can relate to the stress & fear I have of his condition. " I am glad that you were able to get linked to the PAI. I am sure that you will find some helpful resources. We have several people who read the message board that are in your same situation. It sounds like your boyfriend has acute pancreatitis, since it was all of a sudden and he is so ill and in a coma. This can make a person very, very sick. I understand that you feel so alone and that your friends cannot relate to what you are going through. It is such a freaky thing, to be okay one minute and so very ill the next. It is also scary for them, as well as you, because they don't understand what is going on and that makes it hard for them to know what to say or how to act. Please know that this is a place that you can tell us what happened during the day, ask questions, etc. Please share more of what is happening, if you want, what hospital is he in? How long has he been there? What are the doctor's saying?
