Guest guest
Sharyn, My rib pain is where ever it decides to hurt. I have deterioration in upper middle and lower ribs. Usually pain starts in front and works it way around. The ones that really bother me are where my bra rubs. I also have it up near the collar bone. Yep I have all kinds of lumps and bumps!LOL Hope this helps! Lots of love Glenda

I do have fibro, but I have had it for over 10 years and have never had the pain like I do now. I have had costochondritis since I was 21. The sides of my ribs are the worse. Nothing seems to take it away.

Guest guest
Fibro is the pits. I think back when they DX me I had 10 of the 18 points. Know that is more. Also, my skin hurts when you touch it. Can only sleep in a water bed because of this. Am sure other are worse off. The cramping under the ribs is not an everyday thing thank goodness, but it sure hurts like hell. The way I ease it is to cough. This seems to loosen it up and then all is okay. I think the fibro is what causes parts of my back to fell like someone has knuckled punched me. There are times while I'm in the truck driving it feels like my back is against a bunch of marbles. Just something you learn to live with although there are times when it is real bad. The shot I got in my right hip yesterday has ease most of the pain there and down my leg. This too is just a temp fix, but it keeps me going and I can get around better. We all have to live with something. I think the worse thing that bothers me more than any pain is the brain fog I get into sometimes. I mix up names and it's really hard for me to concentrate. Heck I've even forgotten where I parked my truck and I have to try and just get my thoughts together. I always make sure if I have to park that I have something (landmark) to help me remember where I am. I have to very careful in my job because I work with numbers so I double check everything I do. Thank goodness for computers, spell checkers and things like that. Something stick with me...others don't. My short term memory sucks Was talking to Caludia about how much medication we take and the number of pills we take on a weekly basis. Told her I counted a little over 90 pills I take a week. Heck she beat me with that one...takes 117. That would make for a great poll to see just how many pills we all take each on a weekly basis. Total medication for me is 9 to 12 if you count the eye drops. Sharyn -- Re: Sharyn & Rib pain Hi Sharyn,my rib cage in the back, has hurt everyday since December.
