Michele,

I can't say whether or not the cough is related to SCD or die-off. I suppose the

nausea could be related to an additional round of die-off that you've run up

against. It also could be a flu bug that they've picked up.

Are you seeing any other changes? BM-wise?

I would not necessarily go back to intro.... I think I would just make a pot

of chicken soup to try to get into them.... just because it's that time of year,

and it couldn't hurt. Keep doing what you're doing and watch them over the next

few days and let us know what else you see.

It should be temporary. If they get to feeling really crummy, pull the food

back to simpler and plainer.... and give epsom salts baths. Plenty of

fluids.... etc.... just as you would for a sick kid.

Two month issues?

We're a little over 2 months into SCD & my 8yr old has a chronic dry

cough that's driving him a bit nuts. It's been going on a few days

now. He's also told me he " feels cranky " a lot lately (I noticed). He

also went through a morning of nausea & vomiting that just went away

as quick as it came. My 4yr daughter has gone through the same nausea

twice now, only in the morning, a bit of vomitting & then gone

completely. No cough. She's gone through some difficult behavior

periods as well lately.

Nothing notable from my autistic son yet...

Is this that 2m thing that I've read about? Should I do intro again

for a couple of days & why? We're only using a little yogurt at this

point becz it's tough to get into them. We do take Kirkman's

acidophilus.

Thanks,

Michele

I went thru cold like symptoms with Dylan, around 3 mos though...and it

lasted almost two and a half weeks. We also had BAAAD behavior issues and

lots of tears(for mom too).He literally only ate soup and cooked apples for

a while.

The reason I thought of it as SCD related is because otherwise they

are fine.

They don't eat soup unfortunately!

Thanks, Michele
