Guest guest
Hi there, The CDSA (comprehensive stool analysis/parasitology) came back for our two year old daughter. I don't know if SCDiet is going to be enough. Do you know???? It appears that her problem is also bacterial. It is clear that SCD has help greatly though! Her doctor is so buys, he can not see her for several weeks. I tried to work her in...but they are not in no hurry.....it's not there kid! I tried to get or other doctor to help...she doesn't respect any of this DAN! stuff. She would not help us either. Go figure! I am ready to leave our country....but may not be any better anywhere else....from the looks of things. As you know we are trying to get her out of this flare. Going back to intro and easy to digest foods have helped greatly. The scale is 1 to 4 (being greatest). a.. Beneficial flora are Bifidobacter 3+, E. Coli 4+, and Lactobacillus 2+ (this one needs raise to a 3 or 4) b.. Imbalances where: Bacillus sp. 1+ and Gamma Strep 3+ ( this one needs lowered) c.. Dysbiotic Flora: Pseudomonas Aeruginosa 3+ (This one needs taken away...a bacterai that is sensitive to many prescriptive agents, and a natural agent Uva Ursi.) d.. Mycology/yeast: Came back 1+ (which is just wonderful!) YEAH!!! e.. No parasites a.. Her inflammation was highly elevated. Her Lysozyme and Latoferrin where so elevated it demonstrated Inflammatory Bowl Disease (IBD)...justifying our suspicions of possible ulcerations. b.. Her Lymphocytes are elevated too. No doubt because of the intestinal inflammation. c.. Her Total Serum Blood Protein was rather low. Surprising since she eats so much protein. Clearly having a problem with absorption and metabolism (thanks to intestinal problems). d.. Her Total WBC count was a bit low too. e.. Everything else was in range (thyroid, iron, ANA screen etc...) She is looking rather healthy other wise. Info on Uva Ursi: http://www.herbalgram.org/youngliving/expandedcommissione/he098.asp<http://www.h\ erbalgram.org/youngliving/expandedcommissione/he098.asp> You can google more. I am still looking into it myself. Do you know where to buy this. Or if it is even safe? I would love to start killing this stuff sooner. She is trying to come out of another flare. I feel sorry for her. She just doesn't feel that well. I would love any suggestions. I would also like to raise her Lactobacillus. I don't know what to do about the Gamma Strep 3+. WE thank you! I've uploaded some info from the Lyris archives (comments from Elaine etc..) on Psuedomonas and gram negative bacteria in the file section at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/files/ under " Gram negative bacteria (Pseudomonas etc..) " and another file entitled " Uva Ursi " . Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 22yrs mom of and
