problems with band fitting correctly

Hi I am new to the group and I have a few questions. We went to Cranial

Technologies in Charlotte on July 13 with my son, Aaden. He was 4 and 1/2

months. They did all the measurements and said that he was a 5MM and he was a

good candidate for the band. We decided to do it even though our insurance

wouldn't pay for it. On July 17th we had the 3D picture made and then got his

band on July 24th. It rubbed red marks on his head and they didn't go away and

we had to go back that Monday. They shaved some out but it still was rubbing

him pretty bad so back we went. They shaved more out and said that if it didn't

work they would have to make him a new band. Last Tuesday the 4th, they told us

that he would have to have a new band because the old one rubbed a blister on

his head. Today we go the new band and he is still having red spots in the same

places. I was wondering if anyone else had to have a new band made? We are

getting very discourage because he was suppose to only wear it 2-3 months and we

have almost lost a month. Any advice?
