6 yr. old twins not tolerating yogurt...what to do?

My twins have been scd since Jan. 06 and I decided it was time to

introduce the goat's milk yogurt. I made it last Friday and my

daughter was in the middle of a cold. Well, a few days later after

starting the yogurt, it turned into an ear infection. I didn't know

if this was related? Also, both started having very loose bm's with

undigested (sorry, gross I know) food particals and my son was having

terrible behavior. I stopped after their third day of the yogurt.

Keep in mind that I did as told and started with 1/8 of a tsp., then

1/4, and then 1/2 of the yogurt each day. My son also developed

a " yeast " rash on his left bottom cheek.

The two days following were much better after I stopped giving it to

them; the bm's were better formed and the behavior was way better,

almost better than before the yogurt. So, I decided on Friday to

start it up again and gave it again today also. Well, they have both

had 4-5 really bad and runny bm's and my son's behavior is again off

the charts, plus he's been coughing a lot and wheezing as he picked

up the tail end of her cold. Is it a die off reaction that they are

having and yeast and bacteria is coming out of them, or is it the

casein in the milk that they can't tolerate?

Should I give up or is this encouraging? Should I just give them 1/4

tsp. every Friday after school so it can help them but not over power

their little systems?

Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tammy
